In order to achieve anything we have to get started. Starting something new can be a scary, overwhelming, and stressful thought—however it’s typically the thought that’s the worst part. Once we take action and get started we begin to make distinctions and see the path more clearly. We don’t have to know “how” we are going to accomplish something. We just have to have enough motivation and desire to actually get started.
We tend to want to put things off until it is convenient or the perfect moment—the problem is that there is rarely a convenient time to do anything and the perfect moment really doesn’t exist. It doesn’t matter that we start perfectly, it only matters that we start, stay in consistent action, and adjust along the way as we become more clear of the path to achieving the outcomes we desire.
