Sascha Gorokhoff is back on the podcast for another conversation. In today’s episode we talk about creating the mindset to take responsibility and craft the reality you desire. Sascha and I talk about his story and how he developed the mindset of victory as opposed to that of a victim and how we can all begin to purposefully focus on the things already present in our lives that will help us become the most empowered version of ourselves.
Sascha overcame more life challenges than a lot of us could even imagine. He was born severely disabled with Spina-Bifida Myelo-Meningocele, with a Hydrocephalus, and with Arnold-Chiari II syndrome.
To put it simply, according to the medical community who understands these terms, he should have never walked, been paralyzed from the waist down, and mentally challenged. Moreover, he was the son of a mother believed to suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder coupled with Narcissism and she was also a hypochondriac. His father died from a heart attack when Sascha was 16 years old. These are only some of the challenges he overcame.
Sascha also authored his book: “The Leadership Journey For The New Millennials Turning Tragedy Into Triumph” available everywhere books are sold, as well as “From Victim To Victory: A Leadership Journey“
He holds two Bachelors and one Certificate from Webster University, and a Masters Degree from Graduate Institute of Development Studies, in addition to two executive education certificates from IMD Business school ranked #1 by Financial Times in open education for the eighth year in a row.
Sascha fluently speaks English, French, German, and Swiss-German.
